    The lost art of slot dozing!

    Anybody here slot doze in hard rock? I work in hard rock gold mine, pushing to either a 992 or 994 wheel loader. We have one section of the pit which has a fault, so any of the blast energy disapates, makes for very hard ripping and pushing.

    I have used a small air powered diaphragm pump for moving liquids. For a really cheap pump, I have a drill pump.

    I would have thought that they would have more clearance. More like the 'highwalker' versions.

    grizzly screening pit run aggregate other dirt down to one inch size

    No it will not work. Unless your pit run material is 90% 1" minus. The grizzly bars will just plug up and be most frustrating.

    Any Idea's ???

    Slide a piece of copper tubing over the head of the allen bolt, then run a stick of welding rod down the tubing to the bolt. The rod won't stick to the copper tubing. Could you drive an internal torx socket over the head of the bolt?

    Material sticking to Conveyor belt!?

    You can also get 'beater' return rollers. There is also a chemical that can be applied to the belting. We used it in extreme cold temps to keep the ore from freezing to the belts.
