    Welding the buckets JD 310c Backhoe/loader

    Go with the 7018. Its not a bad rod to burn and you will get get a good solid weld. Grind out your cracks for sure or you will be redoing the job. You need lots of penetration. If you want to keep the machine in top shape don't cut corners by not grinding and using 6011 or 13. it will work but...

    A lot of fans are reversible, push the blades down or in and turn them. in the winter you can have the fan blow the warm air at you instead of out the front.

    Any major problems

    I ran one for a couple of years, it had a radiator oil cooler with litle space between the fins. it would plug up and run hot often. I cleaned it at least once a week to keep it running cool. other than that it was good. We also had d65 komatsu and it would out push the D6h any day.

    JD 410c hydraulic issues??????

    A new one is 5200$ i asked for a reman and they told me they dont offer any at JD!! A reman from your way in the states is 1500$ plus a 300$ core charge, shipping prob 500$ then brockerage fees to cross the boarder prob another few 100$. So this was my best bet.

    Got the old girl back up and running, the broken spring was the only issue. Its working good for now. That litle spring caused a lot of head scratching!!!

    I was going to go see it this weekend but i tink i will stay clear of it with this advice. I can get a 1500 to 2000hrs machine with a cab for about 23k to 25k in this area. So i think i will look a that option first. Thanks

    Is the bolt holding the crankshaft pulley on is it left hand thread??? or Right hand??? Im changing the crank seal since i have the hydraulic pump out. I tried it tonight just quickly before comming to work and i cant tell what it is R or L !!! Can someone let me know please? Thanks Harry

    They where built in Hartland New brunswick. Localy here a lot of farmers run them and like them. They are cheep to repair and are prety though from what i here. But i have personal experience with them.
