How to tell the difference between a Case 401b and Case A401 engine?
I have an 1150 dozer and am trying to determine if I have the 401b or A401 engine. I am sure this is not hard to tell for those that know what they are looking at, but I do not. Can anyone give me some advice on how to determine the difference? Thanks. -

You hit the nail on the head. I just check the old batteries and compared to the new batteries the terminals are reversed. My mistake, I guess now I will have to check and see what I damaged. If if were the bearing that were out would it hurt to drive it up on a trailer? Thanks so much for... -
