Went to the local pull Friday night. Over the years I've seen several catch fire, blow a side panel off, lose a front tire or exhaust stack. This is the first time I saw one lose a rear wheel while pulling. The tractor hunched down to one side and came to a dead stop. The tire never missed a beat and kept on going at at probably 20 mph toward the rinky dink fence. Luckily it veered right, hit the sign and no one got turned into a pancake.
Someone's 310 to the rescue

Mine had less glamorous duty this weekend.
Deck was 28 years old, nasty deteriorated. It has always been a few inches lower than the threshold. Stairs off the side unnecessary. They were rotted, soggy & moldy. Mrs B. had a last minute idea: a rock garden.
No flowers yet. Does Ellie count?
Don't know exact weight of rocks. Three spanned 18' actually touching. Backhoe weighs 17400 with my ample frame in the seat. Backhoe bucket had boulder in it, & I kept swinging it left or right to keep rear wheels on the ground. Front tires labeled NOT MORE THAN 50 PSIG. I had 70 in them.
Note stabilizers. It was not feeling stable!
