i found this site whilst researching for my new, just delivered
Cat D5 50j, 1972 dozer.

Its just for a little farm work, and its engine in almost perfect but its really scruffy.

I found this site through internet search when trying to find some technical data on some of our heavy eq. Our main shop is only 1500 miles away and I get to wear the mechanic's hat on site. Necessity is the mother of invention.

Working on a blown dipper cylinder on my Case 580k and ran into a sticker so started looking to see if there might be some insight on the web

Just as an introduction... I bought my 580K as a retirement gift to myself. Now I don't know how I ever did anything around my place without a hoe of some kind... great toy

i googled heavy equipment forums, i was looking thought it would be intresting to see others in our occupation and what everyone deals with day to day,plus my love for the equipment,i think it's cool to see what operators do all over the world and compared how we do things in the states.this is about the only heavy equipment forum i could find i was surprised i thought there would be more sites.but i'm glad i found this one.

Looking on google at some tractor sites seen were somebody was talking bad about case tractors,and we run case had to see what everybody had to say.
