I thought it worked itself out pretty well under the circumstances. It reminds me of watching the games where the referees let them play unless it gets really rough. There is too much helicopter parenting these days for my taste but maybe I'm just old school. You didn't mention my name but I'll just say that I don't regret a single thing I said. I try to be respectful but I tend to be direct and not beat around the bush too much. This kid needed some quality parenting that he obviously never got. I'm sure he got that machine for free just like everything else he wanted and wanted everyone to do for him. I think he was rude and disrespectful from the get go - including his name and asked for everything he got and deserved even more. - I did, however, recognize a couple threads since this one under different names where he was quite polite and respectful and no one mentioned the past so I'd call it a lesson learned - something that may never have happened with too much intervention - and that's more important than all the repair advice he could get.
