Anyone konw where theres more pics and info on that slammed red, black and white Pete transfer on page 14!!?? I knew the original owner, and i thing the changes he made look unbelievable!!! I was wondering if the photo was shopped!!LOL.

It was owned by Sam Frey, it has since had the box pulled and is now pulling a walking floor in Tulare. Sam now also has a 07 pete with a 36'' bunk pulling a walking floor now.

I just got back from a race in Salt Lake City, it seems like I just cant get away from that place! I drove my brothers hauler out there and back for him. It used to be my hauler but it wasnt stretched when I had it. It's a 96' freightliner fld120 with a 470 detroit and eaton 10 spd. My brothers boss did the stretch in his backyard and built the whole conversion from scratch by himself, he did a very nice job on it. The trailer is a 53' double drop that is set up to haul two race trucks and all the parts and tools they could need. The whole set up is 89' long.

Here's a couple my brother sent me of his truck being hauled to a display and back before a race. I dont know anything about the trucks other than my brother said, "they were nice"

My dad, Gregg Tomlin and grandfather, Larry Tomlin go way back with your grandpa and the white bubbles, number 9 the red truck and the yellow truck. In fact he has lots of pictures of those trucks when they were all shined up. Those were the days of Doug, Monti and my dad. Tell your grandpa and grandma the Tomlin clan says hi!
Thanks Jackie Tomlin

Figured I would throw some pictures in here to bring back my favorite thread on here. I'll start with a couple of my weekend rides, the red one is newer, nicer, has more power, holds more material and requires less tarping but the purple one is my favorite of the bunch and the one I always take because it's just plain cool

Next up, I finally got tired of my Grandpa's truck having a single stack on it (even though it's been that way for 42 years) that flops around and mounted to an ugly headboard so I had to do something about it. He pulled into the yard one day and by the time dinner was ready we had an old school Reddecop muffler and headboard mounted on it with dual 5" straight pipes up the side of it.

Then a couple of days ago I found some 3 1/2" turnout pipes that we had no purpose for and had some extra time on my hands so I did the only logical thing... made the first reefer trailer out there with fully functional dual straight pipes on it! :D

My Grandpa was talking about the old days today and mentioned both Larry and Gregg. He spoke very highly of them and said the trucking business would be a whole lot better if there were more people like that around.
