Here's a couple of the meanest looking rolling bomb in northern california. Nick Barbierie's 2010 389 all blacked out. The first pick is when they first got it and the second is after it got some new stacks and it's matching blacked out propane trailer that it pulls full time.

Those last two new Pete's look like long nose trucks so why 389's and not 379's? Thanks

Peterbilt stopped making the 379 in 2007 and replaced it with the 389 from 2008 on. They did the same thing with the 378, wich is now the the 388.

388 is actually the new 379, 389 is the new 379 ext hood. The 378 was a fiberglass hood, the 388 has an aluminum hood.

Don't normally like trucks with a lot of painted bits, but that one looks real good. Well done all round.

    “The Aftermath“

Here is “The Aftermath“ Built by ETC, Owned by Cory Jones out of NJ. Here is he breakdown, before Cory bought it, it was a Mystic company truck. Mystic was busted for not supplying its customers with all the product that they said they were giving. Became a big deal, they went bankrupt, and allot of companies up there didn’t want to deal with anyone associated with Mystic. So Cory had the truck painted yellow at ETC, a couple years goes by and Cory wanted a new look so he gave, The Texas Chrome Shop a call as they gave the best deal. Well about 6 months after the truck was done and working, paint was coming off the truck in CHUNKS! The prep work they did at TCS was junk they didn’t prime some pieces of the truck. The steps were missing chunks of paint showing bare aluminum. If you looked at the truck, the colors didn’t match as well, So Cory went back to ETC to have it done right, and this is how it came to be what it is today….

Some might say TCS does good work, I beg to differ…

    pics 2-3 after ETC makover
    pics 4-5 after TCS makeover
