    That's kind of a shame really, outsourcing production to China. Lot's of those workers will likely loose their Jobs. Kinda like over here in New Zealand how we used to make and produce lot's of household Items and appliances etc, but now everything just comes from China!. And people wonder why...

    Wow!, you know your stuff alright Graderfan! One name that can be added to the list is Wakefield. They were basically UK licence produced Galion's. In fact the Wakefield's were originally produced under the Galion (Great Britain) name before they changed to Wakefield.

    Hi RDG Thats Interesting Information. What was the firm you worked for? as this grader used to belong to fowler sealing In Rotorua who used It on similar kinds of Jobs etc, and the grader now resides In Opotiki. Cheers Reubs

    Hi George, yes this grader is basically the same machine as the model 503, except that this Is a english built version and uses an english built IH bd264 motor rather than the american motors the u.s.a built examples tended to use.

    Gidday Allan, I am the same guy thats restoring the Ex mow Galion grader that was posted on the facebook page a few months ago. You should find this thread an Interesting resource of photos as there are a fair few of them on here, As a member of the Facebook group I recommend other HEF members...
