JCB 1550-B weak stabilizer (on lift)

Try swapping the hoses on the cylinder from side to side. I had the same problem and found the hose was coming apart inside and had a flapper that caused the speed to be cut in half..........

    JCB oil equivalents?

The rear axle oil is special. It does have friction modifiers to prevent brake chatter. You are best off just buying from the dealer. As far as the rest go to a commercial oil supplier should be able to get you what you need.........Jim

    2003 4CX BRAKE PROBLEMS

Check your rear diff oil level. If it is bypassing the piston seals it will add oil to the diff oil....Jim

    JCB 214 4WD Issue

The selector is 2 wheel drive/2 wheel brake and 2 wheel drive /4 wheel brake and 4 wheel drive 4 wheel brake. There are no brakes in the front axle it is done by engaging 4 wheel drive. If you lower just the front so the tires are on the ground do they still move? Could just be residual pressure...

JCB 217 Brakes, brake job? and transmission dump question

Before tearing into the brakes try changing the rear axle oil. JCB's take a special gear oil with a friction modifier in it. That oil should be changed every 500 hours or as brake noise is heard. As far as the trans i think you need to put a pressure gage and see what it it doing when it drops...

Case 580N Instrument panel light not in manual

You will not find any thing. Unfortunately it is a Case propitiatory software. I would think you would be money head to have it trucked to your local dealer. Trucking is as expensive as a field mechanic coming to you. If they could fix it in one trip I would say have them come out but I bet it...

Case 580N Instrument panel light not in manual

You will have to have a dealer come out and plug in a laptop to reset it. More than likely emissions related or something as simple as not resetting your service meter after you change the oil. It keeps track of how many regens vs how many times you tell it you have changed the oil. It will give...

    jcb 214 transmission light

I would double check the trans oil. If you have an operators manual it will give you the oil spec. I think they will call it special JCB trans oil witch is type F. I would also install a gauge and verify the oil pressure.

JCB 214 Series 2 Bent dipper ram

Terry, any hydraulic shop should be able to make you a new rod. Make sure you check the auxiliary relief valves. If the controls were ever changed (ISO to DEER or visa versa) and the ARV's were not swapped could cause this. Going off memory the boom ARV is 4800 and dipper is 3800............Jim

    Jcb 212s backhoe control pattern

You also need to change the ports reliefs the boom is set higher than the arm.....Jim
