    Ford CL 35

What do I look for, hydraulic whinning while turning and just about kills the engine but the bucket and loader boom work fine and quiet. Can't find anything in the book. Going straight forward or backward its fine only when turning. Maybe some stuck relief valve somewhere.....sam

    Dresser TD 8E

We recently bought this dozer cause the TD15 is too big. Looks great new paint decals etc. but the bottom is toast. I have looked all over this computor nobody even lists pins & bushings, then back in my day they would press these on site. Idea maybe we will cut some pipe and weld two halfs...

Michigan 75A engine rebuild vs repower

We have done that. If you have a mill and a lathe thats all you need for an adaptor plate. My case a Trojan with 264 IH gas. Plate to adapt a 302 Ford V8 10 times more power 10 times quieter.. hardest part was fabbing the exhaust I'm just a sayin

    JD 450 E front idler ?

I thought I had the track tension just right, but after an hours time it seemed a little too tight. So when I let some grease out the idler slamed back about 3 inches. Now for the life of us we can't budge it forward. I have a ratchet binder on the track to the blade so I can stick my finger...

Thanks I found no screen that the book shows. Took floor off and it has about a 1 1/2 short intake hose that is wire reenforced so that aint it. The closest I got to was on U tube, a hydraulic guy explaining this symtom on a Cat. He went around the machine with infared heat gun looking for...

Have you ever dug up a bee's nest?

Being a kid in the early 1950s in this area N.England hornets seemed to rule as well as great big black&yellow spyders which I freak out. Some time starting in the 60s yellow jackets moved in and seems like they killed these hornets and spyders. Im no expert on this but its been like 45 years...
