    Axiloc axle bearing torque

I think I'll go back to the old style locking nut and washer though. Seems pretty foolproof to me.

    Axiloc axle bearing torque

Found a Axilok wall poster that explains the install. Says to torque to 200 lbs then back off 1/2 turn then re-torque to 75 lbs then back off 1/8 turn. and gives end play spec. Says nothing about a inner spacer. I think the inner spacer is only used in the Con Met hub with the set it and forget...

    Axiloc axle bearing torque

That 200lb. final torque is only if it has the spacer installed, right? Mine have no spacer in the hub. Only the Axiloc nut. And thank you for the part numbers

    Axiloc axle bearing torque

I need to replace the s-cam bushings on my 2000 Sterling Dump truck. Replacing brake shoes too. Question is: What is the proper torque procedure for the hub torque if using a Axiloc nut? And #2 are all the wheel seals two part seals or are they available as one piece? Thanks for the info

For me, it's a Calcium Complex for high speed bearings and a 5% moly for low speed, high load applications. Both are synthetic.

CDL is required for air brakes. And it does not matter what weight you register the truck. If the factory rated it at 26,001 or higher, you will need a CDL CLass B. Those rental trucks are spec'ed with hydraulic brakes.

    Tire Size

I have a 2000 Sterling LT9500 Dump Truck with 315/80/22.5 steer tires and 11R/22.5 drives. I would like to change the front steer tires to Floats. Question: What would be the correct tire and wheel size to use? Also, what setback for the rims? I don't want them to rub when turning. I also have...
