Just off phone with JY, has had one of those back of the neck nagging feelings of the haul truck where feels not good to use, spoke to anther buddy and got a different truck. HAD to be tomorrow as has to go to TX for work Monday and did not have Sunday to get it done, only the truck/trailer is smaller and can only manage ONE of the return trucks. SO, I went to the barn pinned up the Goose and have that ready if he wishes after gets here to haul one of them back with him for him. He has had more than share of Sh!t getting this done, have to cut some slack somewhere.

Gee, What does this cab & chassis weigh? How tall is it? I'd take a first in a lifetime long distance trip. I can move 19000 legally if it isn't taller than 13.5' on the deck over. Weather is cold, if Mrs. B makes enough sandwiches, I'll make it. Might fill a bucket or two round trip.

Well you did pretty good DM-you got a reply out of C.O. .

I figured you're spending all your christmas and new years catchin up on torn up trucks! Those drivers all have christmas off- I bet you got a list a mile long of sunvisors that wont stay steady and seat adjustments that don't work. :p And I have no idea who buster keaton is and didn't want to display my ignorance.

Even I know who Buster Keaton was!!!

No, hood will not open with door down, thus Next Step, Remove Le Hood!! Will sit inside the shop alongside the machine. Hood has to come off, then can work Door down to hearts content!!

Fun part of unload was Front Drives did NOT want to roll, debris in/around brake shoes, shoes frozen onto spider(Rust), just a bundle of fun with a old 2wd farm tractor. JY has a Telehandler he loaded it with!!

All good, he and Copilot got fed and got to play away from home. HOPEFULLY gets home between 8:30 and 9.

Yeah we can see the skid marks on the garage floor, probably skid marks elsewhere from the FUBAR unloading too.:p

If you are not digging out the stumps, the trees will come back with a vengeance. Sprouts will come up all over the place from the roots. Even spraying the stumps will not help. I cleared over 1000 acres of this type of mess during 2007-2009. now, I am back reclearing some of the same places, and Honey Locust and Mesquite trees are everywhere. I will say, areas that were mowed regularly, are not nearly as bad.

What are the specs on that thing? Looks like a good one, I approve of the rear suspension.

550hp C15ACERT, 18 spd eaton fuller, Eaton 46,000 rears on 8 bag, double frame 14,000 steer, 24.5 rubber. Soon to be a 6NZ frankenmotor.
