How are the 240’s holding up with the skidmore heads? We were back there almost two years ago looking into them.

Don’t have any experience with the skidmore heads. Mostly quadco hot saws or ponsse dangle heads

Nice looking machine! It looks like top and side doors for access. That seems a little different than the Tigers I've seen in the past. What are you using for a felling head?

Thanks John.
It has the tigercat 5195 felling head. It has a 43 inch bar saw on it and a 52 inch grapple.

That is big! Sounds like you will using the hand fallers a lot less.

Congrats on the new machine!

Yes, my plan is to cut out hand cutting all together. I will run on slopes to 70% untethered and plan to tether up to 100%.
I am heading to the Tigercat factory next month to demo the new 890 shovel logger and plan on adding a Tigercat skidder to tether to also.

I had no idea that they would operate on that steep of a slope without being tethered. How far can the cab be tilted to some what level it up?

I am unsure on the actual degree of tilt but I will get a photo of it tomorrow in Full Tilt.
