Eco Log's Link-Belt/FMC. An old school machine that still works everyday. A bit slow but keeps up with their thinning side well.

been waiting to see a picture of this machine!

"Rosewarne Contractors Ltd recently took delivery of their latest John Deere 2154D Log Loader. Nicknamed the Terminator.
This particular unit is fitted with a Power Clam Grapple made by CWS Industries in Canada for high speed high production loading. After spending a few days getting used to it, operator Tas was very complimentary as to the capabilities of the grapple and believed it would reduce loading times on the skid.
Seen here from left to right is Director of CWS Industries Tim Stubbs. Owner of Rosewarne Contractors, Lars Rosewarne. Operator Tas and Dave McFarlane from the John Deere Swing Machine Factory.
Machine sold by Phil McKenzie

You must have went snooping around the Deary, Bovill, Elk River, Clarkia, St. Maries area :)
Junior Day cut a bunch of right of way for us in 05 or 06 on a big Forest Circus job we were building road into, outside of Bovill. Hendersen was building some (and logged it as well) on some State ground boardering up to the Circus ground we were on. Steve will throw a pile of iron at a million feet, and knock it out in no time flat!
Is Ray's dad still hauling logs down that way? I seen him up in Sandpoint a couple years ago. We had him hauling our R.O.W. We just called him "Old"!

Haha, yep, I get around. Those were taken around the White Pine Drive area, in between Potlatch and St. Marie's. Headed up to the Silver Valley tomorrow, see if I can't get some pictures of any equipment up that way.

interesting to see it's not polycarbonate/ lexan/ plastic etc (what ever you want to call it).

Why is that?
