You are not alone.

My 580K 4x4 open Rops. About a 1992 Phase III.
3 lever and foot swing as it should be.
She is a plain jane sporting some battle scars.
I have had her for 3 yrs. She has been a good one.
Those Knoxville neighbors of mine may recognize the Contractors Machinery decals on it.
I think that means she even survived the rental fleet.
That is not where i got her from, she came that way.
Starting to need some repairs and preventive maintenance items.
Unknown hours, all my instruments finally failed, after a long period of intermittent operation.
I really have not got a name for her. I usually just call her Big Bitch.
I ran 480 backhoes for years started with B and ended with F.
It was a little learning curve, Thus her name.

Complete with kids - we've had this '89 for 12 years, and the kids will probably still have it in 30 years. Hope the enviro's let us still run diesel engines then.

Heres a few shots of mine in action , its not so easy on the eyes , but its a work horse for its age and model
Its a 1984 JCB 14000B . I got it with a bad crank shaft and rod , fixed her up , put some good tires , a few hoses , and put some seals in the hydroulic clynders and a cheap volvo look a like paint job on the arms and put her to work . I havent been disapointed yet .

Here's ours. A 1967 White Oliver 2-78-15. 2 wheel drive, 78 HP, 15 foot max. digging depth. Engine rebuilt over the winter and a new coat of old Cat yellow. Rare, rare, rare!

Here's my old tractor! And my new Daughter!:)

Ahhh, makes you forget about equipment and remember what's important in life.

Treasure the moments with her. My kids are only 7 & 9, but those younger years go by way too fast!!! :(

Wish I had more kids, they're the best thing in life! :)

Forget Equipment? It makes the other treasures of life possible.

If it is rare. Why did you chose not to paint it back to its original glory?

Here's my old tractor! And my new Daughter!:)

I have a 4 year old girl, too. And she already likes to run the backhoe! Now if I could only teach her to drive a dump truck...

I didn't know it was rare until after I had brought it home and started looking for parts. "You have a WHAT? I haven't seen one of those in YEARS" is not agood thing to hear when searching for parts! I would put the White Oliver stickers back on it if I could find them. I'm going to fabricate a new ROPS as well as the old cab that I took off was nothing but glass and sheet metal.
