I had this pic texted to me yesterday morning.

The operator said he never saw the pin coming out......maybe so if it came out opposite the operators side. I got the cylinder pinned back up pretty quick, but 3 of the hoses were damaged and leaking so off they came. One hose was a 3/8 line running to the quick-tach valve from the bucket cylinder base end..........when I took the fitting off oil started to come out of the cylinder and carried something out with it. At first I thought it was a spring, but when I grabbed it and took a better look, it was a 1 5/8 inch drywall screw. No way that screw passed through this system to lodge there..........it HAD to be installed there. The only purpose I think it would serve is as a flow restrictor................but I have NEVER seen this. Anyone else? I didnt get a pic but I will when I go back out in a few days.........its pouring rain at the moment and the machine in back in afield over a 1/4 mile.

Got called to work on a delimber one time that had the front grab arms closing really slow. We worked on it for 2 days. It had correct pressures and we even unhooked the pressure line and ran the function but was still slow. The 3rd day I couldn’t be there. I got a pic later that day of an Allen head set screw with a pin hole drilled in it that was stuck perfectly in the fitting of the pressure line Way up on top of the machine. How it got there is a mystery. It didn’t pass through the main control valve and lodge perfectly straight in the line but someone would have had to get on a stepladder to get up high enough if it was vandalism and there’s no way they could’ve done it without spilling oil.

G..G..G..Granville.........!! Fetch your cloth.
What is in the pic is all I see. I was hoping the fitting would come with the indicator..........or that the indicator has a male thread to it. I'll know today when I pick the part up.
I posted the Part number of the indicator AND of the fitting that connects it to the air intake line for that very reason.........

:D:D:D:cool: Didn't happen! Good thing we haven't had rain the last few days or this would be under water. I'm not eating the travel time and mileage either.......they should have notified me. It did give me an idea about adding another column on my invoices though. I'll add that to this thread tonight..............it will make me wealthy beyond imagination.
