That truck was originally a Mach Rock Truck that worked on the St Lawrence Seaway in Eastern Canada . I believe Norrie Brothers Logging brought 2 of them to B.C. and had them converted to logging trucks at Copley's Shop in Cobble Hill B.C.Not a reply but a ? What brand of truck is that way back in post #193? It looks to have a one piece windshield.

How much would a load like this weigh? Total gross of the load vs. net weight of the logs?
I'm saying 45k tare, 150k gross
When I was there a few years back as I remember the truck and trailer were close to 80K we were hauling 250K of logs. The grade coming down was maximum of 30% it took about 300 gallons of water each trip to cool the brake drums.How much would a load like this weigh? Total gross of the load vs. net weight of the logs?
