You’d be really hard-pressed to find a catalytic converter on an SVL 90–2…You should find a Deisel Particulate Filter though….is the machine showing any codes on the display?

It seems like someone was trying to “fix it” before your friend got ahold of it. It could be many things. We have 2 SVL 90-2 and they are both right around 1800-2000 hrs and both have started having electrical connector issues. Seems Kubota figured that they could save a few duckets by making the wiring harnes barley long enough to reach its destination on a machine that vibrates…ALOT…there must be codes when you turn the key on. Red or yellow stop icon flashing? Rpm light flashing? Plus look for the codes in the digital display. The mechanic at work found a place that sells the connectors, Kubota will only sell you a complete harness.
