Old Ugly Dirty (loved) Hoe Pic. I went through 25 pages of this thread and hadn't seen one 530 Construction King, so I figured I would post pictures of mine. 1963 Case Construction King (Desiel) with Model 32 backhoe on it (5 lever). Keep the pictures coming, I am really enjoying looking at all the pictures. Included a picture with it loaded on my 04 Titan (Big Tow Package) with 218k miles and still jerking this baby around.

With that size machine you should be thinking about a dump truck to pull it around, you will be thanking yourself over and over for the liberties that you will have just being able to move material when you need to in addition to the safety you will have added when moving the hoe.I worked around that machine when it was new for Lane construction.Ron G

Yes, you are right Ron and I do agree, but I have only had to move it once a year since I bought it in 2013. It is a very slow process with the truck, I don't go above 40mph (and have brake controller and good trailer brakes). I would need to get a trailer before even considering a dump. I borrow this trailer from a friend.

In my childhood there were two.... or maybe one 530CK tractors. They are really the only hoes I remember from childhood. Almost all excavation was done either by hand, horses, feeble loaders on farm tractors, or crawlers. These machines were the first all in one backhoes. A couple men routinely dug cellar hoes with these. Years later I discovered one laying on its side in a farm field. At the time I wasn't aware its owner lay dead a mile away. He was run over, but autopsy showed he died of heart attack. Now I'm wondering if it is the same machine a younger man used in his business. Probably some overlap in time & two different tractors. That one is sitting for sale on a used car lot nearby right now.

I don't know what yours weighs, but I'm sure it's too much for your equipment.
