Wonder what it had for engine(s)?

Just so happens I have book that lists a 1LLD as having two NHRS Cummins and being a 50 ton truck. Then again that one shown is being called a "Western 80" which I believe refers to the trailer section not the tractor.

I'm having a hard time believing two little NHRS Cummins would be pulling all that load, at least not if there was any kind of grade involved.

Also found that same picture with this caption:
A 1952 Euclid 150 ton 1LLD Western 80 dump truck.

So again if it is hauling 150 tons plus it's own weight I even more convinced that two little Cummins would do the job. With for stacks I might be thinking four 6-110's or maybe 6-71's?

Heck while I'm wild guessing why not stick in a pair 12V-149's in there, but did they make 12V-149's in early 50's? Just did a Google search and seems like the 149's were only built these years 1967–1999 so that kills that idea!

Hansen--I posted that knowing you would be on it like a bad smell. Western designed, using
the Euclid, but it had issues. Didn't sell---Got to remember the gearing was real low.

Page 3----Cody Danos. Originally powered by 2 NHRS 600 Cummins, then a interim engine,
Then powered by 6-110's. Less than 50 total built.
