    Cat D8K sold high

    they usually bring 40-50,000 around here at auction in avg shape. For 220,000 it would have to have a cat certified rebuild for me to be interested. We run two 8k's and I am looking for a third, for that kind of money I could buy a good 8R:rolleyes:

    A different kind of rental question

    do all turbo diesels have to go through a 2 minute cool down or just those on skid steers. Whats the result of not allowing a prober cool down. I have heard skid steer guys preach the cool down alot but not so much with other equipment.:beatsme Chris
