Sure are great pictures D4Fun, but it's making me want to emigrate! And build a time machine? Even my wife has started humming the letters E-M-I-G-R-A-T-E to the tune of one of Tammy Wynette's famous hits, after I showed her the log trucks and vistas on here...Cheers all.

I went to the island almost three years ago. My advice is that if you are thinking of moving there don't go there for a visit. You probably won't leave, some of the friendliest people I have ever met. Some very beautiful country, and it was tough to ride off on my motorcycle. I am sure hoping to get back there this summer, for a visit and catch up with the many people (friends) that I met there.

John I got to be honest , these pictures are from the 1960's, 70's , 80's and 90's . We are reminiscing "The Good Old Day's" that didn't always seem that good at times . Now we realize how good we had it at the time and though's day's have past , gone forever . I'm glad your enjoying these pictures , but the Forest Industry on the West Coast of British Columbia has changed and not for the better of the Working Men in it .
