I think you need to add another step when posting pictures to add the text between them. After you finish uploading your pictures, click on the attachment button again (paperclip button) and a drop down menu will come up showing the attachments uploaded for that post. Click the "Insert All" button at the bottom of that menu. It will add something like this in the post; below is an example:
