Wider tire/wheel options for older aerial lift

I just acquired an older (early 80's) Roto-Zoom 30 aerial lift and was looking for options for wider tires. It came with 4.00 X 8 solid tires on split rims, which are fine for hard level surfaces, but I would like the option of using it on a level lawn. The lift weighs 4700 lbs and the tires are small, so even plywood has a tough time.

Are there any wider tires that would fit those rims? Could I go to a foam filled tire as well? As you can see from the attached picture, the outrigger is in the way and limits the maximum diameter of the tire. I could go 2" larger in diameter over the existing tire, but my goal is to get to a wider tire. I appreciate all and any advice from this group. Thanks!
