WAX Motor on New Holland 555E

Could anyone tell me what activates the wire attached to the WAX Motor on the DP203 fuel injector pump? I was told that the WAX motor on the fuel injection pump is basically a timing advance to adjust for more fuel in response to throttle increase. My backhoe does not respond well to throttle increase. On a full depress of the fuel pedal the engine stalls for about 15 seconds or so then very slowly increases on up to about 2500 rpm over about a 10 second period. A pump re-builder in Tulsa told me that the WAX Motor is controlled by a block heat sensor or the thermostat heat sensor? He told me to run the engine with the WAX Motor connected to the wire and then run it with the wire disconnected. The engine responds the same both ways. I am thinking of replacing the sending unit if I can find out what unit controls the WAX motor. All filters have been replaced, fuel / water separator has been cleaned, all fuel lines including the return line has been removed and checked insuring no cracks or blockages and the lift pump has been replaced. I do not know that enough power would be in that wire to light up a test light but I did try the test light on the wire after the engine warmed up into the green range and the test light did not light up and I do not have an ohm meter and have never used one. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You need the pumpguy to chime in but the electrical path looks like it begins at the ignition switch, passes through the F1B fuse, then through the wax motor temperature switch.

Thanks for the response. Well the fuel shutoff is working so that means the fuse is good. I found a diagram on page 3-179 that appears the heat switch is indeed at the thermostat. I wouldn't have come across that diagram if you hadn't sent the one above. Schematic's and wiring diagrams are something beyond my knowledge. After thinking about this for a minute, the thermostat sensor is working because the heat gauge is working. I have some appointments to go to the next few days. So I can't jump on it until Friday at soonest. I may try jumping from the sensor to the WAX motor in case the wire has a break in it. Thanks for the help.
