I recently purchased a Waldon 4000 mini wheel loader. Anyone have any experience with these? I'm looking for a replacement Continental F163 gas engine for mine. I have found out that although these are fairly common, there were about a dozen variations. It appears as though the one I'm looking for was used on the old Clark forklifts. Anyone have or know of any available? I'm in the Cleveland, Oh area.

Also, anyone know about the old Funk trannies that were used in these? I've heard that finding parts is next near impossible.

Call Waldon directly and an American will answer the phone and they will probably go out to the shop and get a mechanic to field your question. We have a 4000 with a perkins diesel and a 4500 with a continental diesel. If you call them, they can point you in the right direction.
