Can anyone tell me who makes a winter kit to cover the rear screens on a 946 Volvo Blade? Also does anyone with some time in one of these machines have any thoughts? Thanks :usa

Volvo do... The kit is made of a steelplate that you mount under the exaust stack and the cover over the engine/cooler.
The steelplate close the gap around the exaust pipe, so that air isn't sucked out of the engine room.(it close the engine room)

We got the kit, but its intended for the realy realy cold areas..like Alaska and the south pole..
Don't think we ever will need to use it.

Any horse cover will fit...

The Winter Air Intake Package reduces systems warm-up time and also help reduces snow and ice build up on coolers in snow plowing applications. The package includes plates for the air intake and muffler stacks to reduce snow from entering the air filter and the engine compartment. The three flexible black cloth covers have a hook and velcro loop strip on the inside of each flap which allows the covers to be partially opened.
To prevent excessive fan speed, higher fuel consumption and increased noise levels, the Winter Air Intake Covers should only be used when the ambient temperature is consistently below 5oC (41oF) or when there is a possibility of snow and/or ice build up.
