volvo manuals come in a couple of flavours - hard copies - and digital form (Prosis) we can help with specific information however manuals are not made availible only extracts.

Whilst I can see that you may have an issue if you are following another, not knowing which brackets you are refering to makes answering your question a little difficult. Maybe you would be better of making a search for a parts book - the illustrations are usually good enough to assemble an engine.

Why not post pics of the brackets you're having trouble with. Others who are familiar may be able to help.

Nope do not have acsess to parts book but can ask the dealer for specific page but i guess you can do that also.
