Volvo EC150 Paint info

We are getting a EC150 back into shape from mechanical items to paint.
We started prepping & painting but having a hard time with the yellow. The dark gray matches perfect.
Before I started I contacted Benjamin Moore they have 3 paints that work for machines but suggested
Super Spec Alkyd DTM (direct to metal) low lustre sprayed from a Titan 440 machine. I'm no painter but what my painter has done looks great.
My issue is the yellow..anyone have any input on color code or how to get the correct yellow. Ours is way brighter and I have done everything to date per manufacturer
specs and would like to continue. Thanks!

Are you trying to match the existing yellow? Is this a total repaint? You won't match the original perfect. Yellow fades a lot , How old is the machine? The paint on machines is not the best of quality for uv resistant. So if you are only painting certain spots, yes it's going to be brighter

Its a complete renovation on the machine including a complete paint job. I know yellow fades just trying to get a close match to the original yellow. I don't "operate" for a living but know that Cat looks a certain way, Komatsu looks a certain way and Volvo has the yellow with a every so slight green. I have found some info which states it may be Taxi yellow #63 & Olive green # 61 but no manufacturer name with those colors/numbers. Volvo wants $130 a gallon plus shipping the gallon I just bought was $70. Just trying to do the best we can and refuse to slap it on. Hell I can't even understand anyone who owns a machine, especially new and doesn't take care of it. But that's just me I guess!

Well I have never dealt with Benjamin Moore paints. Thought they did houses. My industrial finish guy has paint codes for just about every manufacturer, might want to find a better place to deal with that can match it better. He comes really close other than the fact that it's now shiny. Don't forget that they might have different colors for different years too.
