I have the opportunity to pick up 2 10X40 in ground scales for basically nothing. But I don't know the first thing about truck scales.

Is it worth it?

They seem to have a concrete surface, and are poured into a building at present.

Could I steel the load cells out and retrofit into an above ground, or perhaps just a couple small pads?
