I am looking at a 1996 2700 Link Belt with 9K hrs. I have never owned a excavator before and was wanting advice on what to look for in general and also if it had any special problems for the that year model and size machine. I have heard a lot of good things about the Isuzi engines, but what about hydrylics , wiring , main frames , booms and sticks? Thanks for any advice and information!

look it over real well. the izuzu motor is awesome. undercarriage is the weak link. how much is it? and what weight class is a 2700??
