twin tiger teeth

I'm looking at getting some twin tiger teeth for my backhoe for this winter to help dig through frost better. Does anyone have any experience with this? Do they work a lot better in frost than normal teeth?

Thanks

I have no idea on ice....but the tigers work really well for us on things like coffee rock, hard clay, limestone. They are most useful for ripping a small amount of rock which is probably not worth going and getting a rock-breaker for. The smaller point just allows you to concentrate the break out force.

i've used them quite a few times , they work pretty good they really break the frost up in smaller peices comapred to bigger chunks, they dont work very good in rock though, at least from what ive seen they never seemed to last for me when diggin in rock with them

I have used them quite a bit over the years and they work great in most types of frozen soil. And they really work well for ripping out plain old ice like in a glacier overflow. Come springtime I just leave them on all summer by fall it is time for a nice sharp new set. Cat 236 Alaska

We sell quite a few sets of them, and some of our customers swear by them. They seem to do a good job around here in the winter.

I have never cared for them IMO they help but not that much. They wear fast then they don't help, well maybe you could get some tungsten ones?

In rockier soils, you use a set at least every two days. We just bill the customer accordingly.:bash

I used to do a bunch of business with the Wholesale Dealers out in Alberta.
Most of the guys out there run all Twin Tiger Teeth to dig in frost.

The fangs we use come with roll pins to keep the teeth on. Dont show up with out a torch, you wont get the teeth off with out one.
