Transmission temp gauge on D7E

I'm replacing the transmission temp gauge on my D7E high horse. I pulled the floor pans and the old gauge line has been cut off under the pans. Can someone tell me where the probe screws into the trans? I don't want to take off any more stuff than I have to. Thanks for the help.

It screws into the torque converter where the outlet is

you should be able to get it from the top it is in the converter outlet valve
