So he couldn’t or wouldn’t tell you what parts of the sprag clutch they replaced.?

I don't have the machine Serial Number so the Part Numbers may be different, but items 27, 38, & 39 on the attached should be mandatory replacements during a torque converter overhaul. The attached is from a JMS-prefix 980H but I see different converter arrangements.
