train vs backhoe, train wins

My brother works for a guy that had this happen to him last week. the snow pusher on the backhoe got stuck in the track and train came along.

Ouch!! obviously I dont know how long he had between getting stuck and getting hit, But that would have needed some darn good welding to have stopped me getting that machine clear,........ assuming I wasnt trying to remove the seat from my butt cheeks so I could get out the door and start running

i live next to a railroad. track speed about 55 mi. hr. sharp turn about 400 yrds. from crossing and think about this kind of thing every time i take my hoe across it.

Yep, and the teeth are new - sharp for grabbing ahold of some frost and yanking the machine to safety. Another parts machine now. Glad he wasn't hurt.
