train vs backhoe, train wins

My brother works for a guy that had this happen to him last week. the snow pusher on the backhoe got stuck in the track and train came along. :eek:

Ouch!! obviously I dont know how long he had between getting stuck and getting hit, But that would have needed some darn good welding to have stopped me getting that machine clear,........ assuming I wasnt trying to remove the seat from my butt cheeks so I could get out the door and start running :eek:

i live next to a railroad. track speed about 55 mi. hr. sharp turn about 400 yrds. from crossing and think about this kind of thing every time i take my hoe across it.

Man that stinks, but it dosent even appear that he tried to pull his way back out with the hoe. Train must have been very close when he stuck it!

Yep, and the teeth are new - sharp for grabbing ahold of some frost and yanking the machine to safety. Another parts machine now. Glad he wasn't hurt.
