Yep just another newby kickin tyres in the yard.
Teenage years spent on the old grey MF and Cranvel backhoe. After a long stretch now have my glorified towmotor aka "wheelbarrow" as local earthmover guy calls it. Definitely not dinkum construction gear, so am on the lookout for something like a small JCB that I can lug around on my trailer for various jobs.
Good info on this site and plenty of knowledgeable folks around. Dunno what I can offer at this stage, but am not a complete dunce on the spanners, so I guess you just never know.
