Stopped by the Union Hall today to snap a few shots of the first track loader I ever ran. When we went out of business in the 80's my Dad donated it to the Union for our new dist 3 hall. It's a 1936 D4 Cat with a Trackson Hy- Shovel loader. The one picture of the fender (I hope you can make out) is of a notch and a hole that the starter rope wore through the 1/4" steel fender. When they came to pick it up it was run up on the low-boy under it's own power. The only thing missing is the rope that ran from the dog on the bucket to the pipe in the back for dumping the bucket, was no gently dumping it, it all dropped at once, then you had to back up while the bucket was on the ground to reset it. Hope you enjoy. Clyde
