We have a TA 30 that chatters when you backup with it turned almost all the way.It sounds and feels like it is in the front end.Somewhat like an old positrack rear end with the clutchpack grabbing,do these trucks have clutch pack in the differential. Thanks Dean

Could be a flogged out uni joint to the front diff. Cheers RDG.

Has there been a ujoint or propshaft change? Check to see if the propshaft is in phase.

Terex use ZF axles, these are limited slip units so there is a tensioned pack inside, they are a fairly tricky axle with settings on half shaft float etc, the amount of shim spacer bits etc needed is a fair head-ache plus L/S oil needed

Thanks we will change the oil and maybe put in some Cat anti chatter additive like to stop brake chatter in backhoes
