Hi all, I'm trying to help a mate out finding some new sprockets for his dozer. He currently has 25t sprockets and 8 1/2" pitch chain. The 25t sprockets are too small and now they have a little wear in them the chain is contacting the hub and damaged the bolts causing the sprocket to come loose and brake.
From what I can gather his father replaced the chain and sprockets in about 1998 (farm machine not many hours since) but used 25t 8 1/2" sprockets instead of 29's with 7 1/2" which is causing the clearance problem, from what he can work out that was most likely done because he probably couldn't get the same stuff.
Can anyone help out with some suggestions as to how he could get round this? He has made a few calls but apparently uc parts for the 20c are not really available. Thanks.
Ps this is in Australia to which probably makes it harder.
