Suitable forest mulcher for jcb 1cx

Hi guys i am looking for suitable forest mulcher attachment for my JCB 1cx ( wheeled version ) HF from 2008 . I’ve seen on the market mulchers that are fine for skid steers and wonder whether they are too heavy for Jcb 1cx as they weight over a ton ! Can anybody share some opinion or point a certain model that can fit ? Many thanks in advance

Just looking at the specs of your tractor, it is rated at 49hp. I don't think you are going to find any mulcher that is going to run very well with that. Most of these guys running mulchers are pushing well over 100hp on their machines. You also have to look at flowrate and, of course, lifting capacity. You might be able to run a brush cutter, but even that might be marginal. I have a blue diamond extreme cutter (1220 lbs) paired with a bobcat S250 (75 hp) and it does well, but it uses everything it's got when you are really going at it.

I don't think this size mulcher will work for you. However, they do make mulching heads that work well on those little mini skid steer loaders. I have seen on youtube, a Vermeer stand-on skid steer that has a small mulching head on it. The results really look good. That smaller type mulching head, might fit your needs.

A guy on facebook said he uses mulcher CAT HM 415 on jcb 1cxt
My machine push 33gpm according its specifications i am concern about the weight tho . As it says that the front lift is rated at 610kg and those mulcher heads are well over

A lot depends on what you expect out of it. With such a low hp rating and only 33 gpm advertised, it also depends on what the psi rating is on the machine as well. It your needing only light duty mulching it may do that. Whatever mulcher you decide on, I would speak to a factory rep and have your spec sheet available to see who's mulcher may work best on it. A machine like that may have a difficult time keeping itself cool, both engine and hyd temps.
