I thought the maintenance supervisor said "park it up at the side out of the way and we'll come and sort it!"

I am by no means an operator but was he trying to load it with the arm up in the air like that?

Can you explain the story behind the flaming truck? Looks like you guys are moving a volcano!

Giday Independent,
Yeah he didnt have the bucket where it should be, it should have been tucked in tighter to the cab but how hes got the bucket up in the air like that is the correct way to walk a large digger the reason behind this is to limit the weight distrubution closer to the track frame and not put stresses on the frame and track gear when walking....The truck photo was sent to me by a mate in the Coal mine where he works, the story goes is that the coal started burning and of course coal being coal likes to burn, so the only way was to either dig it out or let it burn itself out and they decided to dig it out thats the story behind that photo. Hope that clears things up a tad.....Cheers Mark

A few more of old locos...

These old girls have seen their day n they just run them out here n parked em up at a sort of muesum...and the last photo is what they are running today....G/E Dash 3s...
The locos are used 3 at a time to haul 225 to 230 ore cars weighing 110 to 115 tons each the overall length of the train is 1.5 kms long and full noise travels at round 80kph on the mainline...
