Shorting minimum auger flow OK?

I have a TB175 with aux flow rated at 18 gallons per minute. It has a medium Wain Roy coupler which is typically found on backhoes. I want to buy an auger from my rental yard but all the augurs set up on the medium couplers have minimum flows of 20 gallons per minute. They say that's what they usually send out on that machine. Do you think it will be significant being short 2 GPM?

Those mounting plates are like $1400 alone and the rental yards sell the whole package for less than that. Problem is it seem they use to big a power head for the flow rate.

Is this a big deal or would it be fine?
