I just bought a 955l s/n 64J5256. I need manuals and I don't understand the sequence. On ebay right now, there is an Operator's manual Book 57M1 that shows it's for serial numbers:
57M1-UP
13X1-UP
14X1-UP
58X1-UP
64X1-UP
95X1-UP
Am I correct in thinking that mine is not included in the above?
Should I be looking for an Operator's manual And a Service and Repair Manual?

You are correct, your machine is not in that list.
A tip on understanding Cat documentation. Your machine Serial Number (in latest terminology) is 64J05256.
Cat "shorthand" regarding Serial Numbwr effectivity - 57M1-Up = 57M00001-Up.
Manuals for your Serial Number.............so that you can look on eBay and other sites.

You should be able to download 1 & 2 online from Cat for just over $100 the pair. Post back if you'd like some instructions.

The Cat Publication reference is UENR5696. There don't seem to be any around at the moment on the usual sites like eBay.

I am also looking for a manual on samsung 130lc-2 excavator. Had to remove a travel motor to drill out a broken stud. Thanks
