Following up on my original post here: I ordered a 24" digging and 36" ditching bucket from Phoenix Equipment Sales. They arrived a couple of days ago and yesterday I had some time to hitch up the ditching bucket and try it out removing silt from our pond. Very happy with the combination: I was able to remove most of the 15 years of accumulated silt in less than an hour!
