Samsung SL 120 only shifts into 1 and 2

The display lights up to F1 F2 F3 F4 but it only feels like ti goes into 2nd and no higher. Also on the right side where all the switches are what are the 2 lower right rocker switches? The one on the lower right has to be switched or I only get neutral? What is the swith and why does this only shift from 1 to 2 gear?

Does F3 & F4 come on solid or flashing? Does it shift and just not have the power to pull or not shift at all?

The transmission is a ZF 4WG150? With TCU EST17T or 25?
Guess, output speed sensor is broken or cable somewhere interrupted.

It is on solid. I did drive it today and it does shift from 2 to 3 I am not sure if it is shifting from 3 to 4 though, The engine revs up all the ways but it does not seem like it has a lot of power. I checked trans oil and level is way over filled. Pic below shows my dash what are the red2 buttons on bottom right?

...and, if it is a ZF 4WG xxx:
Oil level at 70 degrees C (warm), engine at low idle, tranny neutral aound 50 mm below center output shaft.
Too high oil level will cut drive performance dramatically esp. at higher speed.

I am thinking it is speed sensor as the speedometer does not work either, But how does it shift from 1st to 2nd. Does anyone have the speed sensor part number and location?

See here a picture of a typical ZF speed sensor for WG 120/150/180/200.
I'm not sure whether length (and number) is correct for your specific transmission.

Pic at bottom is a typical location of output speed sensor.

1St and 2Nd Is go home mode with loss of rpm sensor. But if it goes to third and you have a over full, sounds like a clogged filter somewhere.

hi all, ive got a 120-2 that will not engage either F or R in any gear it will only flash D5 which im assuming is a code. the loader just had a reman engine put in by another shop and customer test drove it, loaded it on the trailer and backed it off at their shop, shortly after they tried to run it and nothing. ive gone through the shifter and its all showing power, the trans is reading at 233 psi, the speed sensor is fine, and all fuses behind the seat are good. ive searched the web and theres not much for these, any help would be appreciated

D5 is valve power missing fuse or bad connection TCU to transmission or bad TCU If it was working check fuses then wiring around frame for chafing

I also have a SL120-2 Samsung loader that only has 1st and 2nd gear. Have had it looked at by a couple of guys last one was local Volvo dealer ,so far i have had shifter rebuilt and changed relay behind seat then he found broken speed sensor by output shaft on transmission, I told him to change it but after a few weeks of supposedly trying to find one they gave up told me to come get it and go with it as is. Where can i get this sensor? currently held in place with a couple wire ties. I believe the part # is 8320-14070?
