Unfortunately it’s not as easy as that. The sensor is moulded into the foam of the seat base cushion when it’s manufactured. Without cutting the cushion apart there is no access to it. Believe me the first one we failed we dug into with gusto to try for some sort of solution. Effectively you can’t access the sensor without destroying it.Perhaps the solution is not a resistor but a clothespin on the sensor...
