Went from Ohio to Texas this past week and southern ILLINOIS had ruts full of water from a wet fall. It looked to me there going to be in trouble this spring with feild preparation. Missour and Arkansas didn't look much better so it should make for a interesting spring down there way. Also the woodlots looked like a bomb went off in them from a ice storm I am guessing from this past winter it gave you the impression that they were loaded with ice then got a northwest wind and up rooted a lot of timber.

You pretty much nailed it... Ice storm in early '09 ruined a lot of timber.
It was also a very wet year and so far it's carried over to this year.

The multi day forcast is a bit drier so far.... Here's hopin'.
