i’ve been searching non stop for a reverser solenoid for my backhoe. doesn’t go in forward but goes in reverse. so i’ve tested and found that only one of the magnets workView attachment IMG_1209.jpegbut it seems that this model of solenoid is discontinued.(the solenoid vertically)don’t know if the updated solenoids with two coils will fit and don’t want to spend 300 bucks just to send it back. does anyone know where to go to solve this problem?? 779039 is the last of the vin.IMG_1213.jpeg

Welcome to HEF ptaketa808;)!

Based on your serial number, that solenoid subs to a solenoid and valve block assembly. And that will require some modifications to the machine (not the trans) to fit. Are you sitting down? Lists for $6900.

So, your only option is to seek out parts online (used, salvage yard, etc.).

thank you for the bad news i was expecting. so what’s the process? finding a updated reverser case? i was also thinking about sealing the hole the old solenoid goes into and tapping in the correct threads for the updated version of the solenoids. you think that’ll work? i just really want to avoid the 7k. i don’t make money off this machine i use it only around the household when i need it to so avoiding dumping 7k cause of a discontinued part would really be the path id like to take. and no i wasn’t sitting down the solenoid is on the left side of the hydraulic reservoir
