Readying for the KW

Doc visit this morning so took day off. This was next and then Dentist called had a cancellation so I took the opening moving next week appointment up.

Oil pump reinforcement plate and tubes up, head cleaned up spacer plate cleaned up dressed up block and sat head. No head bolts in yet.

And back at it early this morning
May be time to take a break and let the dog out awhile. Cam is in time backlash set, injectors in, rockers on and torqued, deloused alternator/ac bracket some. Have some small details to work on but awaiting radiator anyway, mainly a small plate for rear harness hole.

Was 5F as started this morning just now into teens. Shop is a balmy 40ish.

Busy all day
Loads of small stuff getting done
Need to scrub and repaint the actual valve covers, also need to replace the 1/2npt lower rad pipe drain plug nothing here for it. Pan is on and 7 gallon in it so far, awaiting turbo Orings and gaskets to complete for pressure lube.

Another Surprise this morning
Should have cleaned these better earlier
Epoxy was flaking so popped the lifted
